Bears General Manager Search: Team Interviews Patriots Director Of Pro Personnel Jason Licht On Monday

The Chicago Bears have started interviewing candidates for their vacant general manager position and on Monday the team met with New England Patriots director of pro personnel Jason Licht. He is one of four external candidates that the Bears plan to interview, according to the Tribune:

Licht was the first of four external candidates scheduled to be interviewed by the club. Jimmy Raye III, the director of player personnel for the San Diego Chargers, is expected to meet with the Bears on Tuesday. The club also will interview New York Giants director of college scouting Marc Ross and Kansas City Chiefs director of college scouting Phil Emery.

Licht got his start in the Miami Dolphins scouting department in 1995; he has worked with New England in his current capacity since 2009.
