In the latest NFL mock draft from Sports Illustrated's Andrew Perloff, the Chicago Bears are pegged once again to select a wide receiver in the first round. Perloff thinks Notre Dame's Michael Floyd would be a good fit in Chicago:
19. Chicago Bears -- Michael Floyd, WR, Notre Dame
The NFL seems to have trouble evaluating Notre Dame products, but Floyd fits the mold of the tall, fast receiver the Bears need.
Perloff certainly isn't the first person to suggest the Bears go wide receiver, or draft Michael Floyd specifically.
Floyd finished the 2011 season with 100 receptions for 1,147 yards and nine touchdowns. It was his second consecutive thousand yard season.
