The Chicago Bears (7-8) hope to finish their season at .500 on Sunday, taking on the Minnesota Vikings (3-12), who -- like the Bears -- have undergone a series of late-season injuries to key players.
The Bears will be starting third string QB Josh McCown, who impressed in his first start with Chicago in the Week 16 loss to the Green Bay Packers, hoping he and third string RB Kahlil Bell can help the Bears overcome injuries to their top position players QB Jay Cutler, RB Matt Forte and RB Marion Barber.
Minnesota, meanwhile, is struggling with the some key injuries of their own. Their All-Pro tailback RB Adrian Peterson has hit the IR with a torn ACL and MCL, and their top play caller QB Christian Ponder is probable with concussion issues entering Sunday's contest.
