Well it's finally that time of year again. The temp's are getting cooler, the leaves will soon be changing, which means football is back. Each week I will give you my selections for each game and if the past is any indication I usually do pretty well. I will say the first week is usually very tough to pick because you still don't know who will be good. Ok here goes nothing.

Green Bay Packers 21 New Orleans Saints 20

I think this will be a very close game and will be exactly the kind of game NBC wants in the opener. Saints will be tough, but I have to go with Rodgers and the Pack at home.

Chicago Bears 17 Atlanta Falcons 14

Sure is a lot of love for Atlanta this season. Yes they do have talent but I'm not ready to put them in the championship just yet. I expect the Bears to win a close defensive struggle on the slop at Soldier Field.

Kansas City 28 Buffalo Bills 13

Buffalo will be one of the struggling teams this season where the Chiefs seem to be on the rise. I don't think the Chiefs will have much to worry about at home in this one. Big game for Jamaal Charles.

Cleveland Browns 35 Cincinnati Bengals 31

This could be the Andrew Luck Bowl. Two bad teams usually equals an entertaining game. Browns are at home so will have to go with them in a shootout.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers 20 Detroit Lions 14

I think the Lions will be a better team this year, but so does the rest of the country. They won't sneak up on anyone and Tampa should be a solid team. I expect the Bucs to get off to a fast start in what will be a close game.

Houston Texans 28 Indianapolis Colts 10

No Manning will equal no offense for the Colts. The normally consistant Colts will struggle with Kerry Collins leading the offense. Could be a long season in Indy.

Philadelphia Eagles 21 St.Louis Rams 14

I'm not quite ready to call the Eagles a dream team just yet. Yes they added some nice players but might take a few weeks to gel. I do think they will win a close game in St. Louis this weekend.

Pittsburgh Steelers 17 Baltimore Ravens 14

This figures to be a great game as it usually is when these two teams hook up. Pittsburgh seems to be a little better this year and will take them in this week one matchup.

Jacksonville Jaguars 20 Tennessee Titans 17

Two bad teams facing off in Jacksonville. I'll take the Jags since it's in Jacksonville.

Arizona Cardinals 21 Carolina Panthers 7

Carolina might be the worst team in the league. Cardinals will look good for one of the few times this season. I'll take them at home.

San Diego Chargers 31 Minnesota Vikings 10

The Chargers are very much under the radar this year and I wouldn't be surprised if they were really good. An explosive offense should take advantage of a very average Vikings team.

New York Giants 24 Washington Redskins 14

Giants should be good this season and the Redskins won't be. Two words: Rex Grossman. Take the Giants in this one.

San Francisco 49ers 21 Seattle Seahawks 10

I think the Niners will win the NFC West this season. Could be a long season in Seattle.

New York Jets 28 Dallas Cowboys 10

The Jets playing off the emotions of 9/11 should feed off the crowd and use that to lead them over the Cowboys on Sunday Night Football.

New England Patriots 35 Miami Dolphins 13

Patriots look to be a machine again, Miami isn't. Patriots should dominate in Monday Night Football opener.

Denver Broncos 20 Oakland Raiders 14

I actually think Oakland is a much better team, but think Denver will win at home.
