For the first time ever, the NFL has announced today that "legendary" alumni from each NFL team will announce the second round draft picks for their team.
↵↵For the Bears, their presenter will be recent NFL Hall of Fame inductee Richard Dent. He'll go to the podium for the Bears' second round pick.
↵↵Among other stars scheduled for this honor are Franco Harris (Steelers), Dwight Clark (49ers), Doug Williams (Redskins), Chris Doleman (Vikings) and Jim Taylor (Packers). For the three teams without a second-round pick (Jets, Panthers, Dolphins), their representatives will announce that team's third-round choice.
↵↵The 2011 NFL Draft will continue the three-day format that debuted in 2010, with the first three rounds broadcast in primetime beginning at 7 p.m. CDT on Thursday, April 28 and 5:00 p.m. CDT on Friday, April 29, and concluding with Rounds 4-7 on Saturday, April 30 at 11:00 a.m. CDT. The NFL Draft will be broadcast on NFL Network and ESPN/ESPN2. For more information, go to NFL.com's draft page.
