The eight-man panel at ESPN has weighed in on the Week 14 matchup between the Chicago Bears and the Denver Broncos, and ESPN's staff is in near complete agreement that Tim Tebow and the Broncos will win. The panel is in overwhelming favor of Denver with a 7-1 split. Mike Golic, the fourth-most accurate prognosticator of the group, is the only dissenter. Here is the rundown for other teams within the NFC North:
- A clean 8-0 sweep by the panel in predicting Matthew Stafford and Detroit Lions will get back on track against the Minnesota Vikings.
- Complete consensus (8-0) that Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers will beat the Oakland Raiders.
As for other NFC Wildcard teams, the panel predictions break down as follows:
- A 6-2 split predicting a Dallas Cowboys win over the New York Giants (Mike Golic and Seth Wickersham picking the Giants)
- Another 6-2 break putting faith in Matt Ryan and the stumbling Atlanta Falcons to stop Cam Newton and the suddenly hot Carolina Panthers (Marcus Allen and Merril Hoge dissenting).
