A season ago, the Bears were one of the healthiest teams in football and were able to host the NFC Championship game. While Chicago looked even better this season during a 7-3 start, the injury bug has finally caught up. Quarterback Jay Cutler might be out for the year after a thumb injury against San Diego, and star running back Matt Forte went down last week with a knee injury against the Kansas City Chiefs.
Forte didn't participate on Wednesday, and could miss up to four weeks. Here's the rest of the Bears' injury report this week:
Full Partcipation
- DL Henry Melton
Limited Participation
- LB Brian Urlacher
- CB Charles Tillman
- DT Anthony Adams
Did Not Participate
- S Major Wright
- RB Matt Forte
Out
- QB Jay Cutler
Safety Major Wright also left the loss to the Chiefs last week with a shoulder injury. Wright has three interceptions this season.
