Bears Vs. Broncos Preview: Struggling With Injuries, Chicago Looks To Halt Denver's Tebowmania

The Bears enter Sunday's contest hurting all throughout their offense -- the quarterback, the running back, and two offensive lineman are all expected to miss the Broncos game.

The Chicago Bears (7-5) head to Denver, Colorado, to take on QB Tim Tebow and the Denver Broncos (7-5) this Sunday. The Bears, who have lost their last two games, look to overcome their sudden abundance of injuries and stop one of the hottest teams in the NFL.

In November, the Bears suddenly lost their All-Pro quarterback, Jay Cutler, to a broken thumb -- which has since led to rumors of the Bears possibly pursuing retired 42-year-old quarterback Brett Favre. And though the rumor has been roundly quashed by Head Coach Lovie Smith, the Bears will no doubt want better production from their backup quarterback, Caleb Hanie, who has now thrown six interceptions and only two touchdowns through his first two starts.

Moreover, the Bears will be looking for some production out of their backup running back, Marion Barber, who will be thrust into starting duty in Week 14 with RB Matt Forte injured. The Forte injury, which occurred early in the Bears' loss to the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 13, may keep their offensive keytsone out for as much as six weeks. Add to that: The Bears have already sent two starting offensive lineman to the IR this year.

In order for the Bears to overcome the dynamic Broncos' running game and win on Sunday, they will need another strong performance from their defense -- who have allowed the second-least points in the NFC -- as well as careful and effective production from their backups.
