An early third quarter touchdown briefly got the Chicago Bears back into their Christmas night game with the Green Bay Packers at Lambeau Field, but the Packers answered with two more touchdown to take a commanding 28-10 lead into the fourth quarter.
The Bears took the opening kickoff of the second half 70 yards in six plays to pull withing 14-10. Khalil Bell, who has over 100 yards rushing so far, was hit at the one yard line and fumbles into the end zone, where offensive lineman Edwin Williams picked it up for his first career touchdown.
It didn't take long for the Packers to get the seven points back, however. Aaron Rodgers hit Jordy Nelson for a 55 yard touchdown on the next drive to move in front 21-10. After a quick stop, the Packers moved the ball 75 yards in 12 plays before James Jones caught his second touchdown pass of the night and Rosgers' fourth of the game.
Rodgers has already thrown for 256 yards and four touchdowns. Charlie Peprah got the Packers back in scoring range again as the quarter closed with an interception of Luke McCown. Rodgers then hit Nelson for a pass to the Chicago eight yard line, and a Ryan Grant run moved it to the four on the quarter's final play.
