NFL Picks Week 16: Fox Sports Expert Predicts Bears Lose A Close One

SB Nation Chicago is continuing to collect experts picks for Week 16 in the NFL, and now turns to Peter Schrager of Fox Sports for his picks. Schrager is down on the Chicago Bears this week, but it is hard to blame him considering the team has dropped four games in a row. Here is what he had to say about the Christmas night matchup with the Green Bay Packers:

Chicago at Green Bay: Suddenly, the perfect Packers resemble a bit of a patchwork M*A*S*H unit. Linemen Bryan Bulaga, Derek Sherrod and Chad Clifton should all be out for Sunday night's game because of injuries, while Greg Jennings and running backs James Starks and Brandon Saine will be out, too.

The Bears offense is a mess, but that defensive front seven could cause problems for Aaron Rodgers playing behind a beaten up offensive line.

I'll take the Packers at home, but this is no cake walk.

The Pick: Packers 24, Bears 16

As for the rest of the NFC North, Schrager believes the Detroit Lions will dispatch the San Diego Chargers by a score of 34-23, and that the Washington Redskins will defeat the Minnesota Vikings, 27-14.
