Week 13 NFL Lines And Odds: Chiefs Vs. Bears

The Chicago Bears (7-4) fell 25-20 to the Oakland Raiders (7-4) in Week 12, so what do odds makers think about Caleb Hanie and Chicago Bears in their Week 13 matchup against the Kansas City Chiefs?

The Week 13 matchup between theChicago Bears and the Kansas City Chiefs is a game where anything could happen, but that's not necessarily a good thing. Unpredictable quarterback play both from Bears' backup quarterback Caleb Hanie and from Chiefs' fill-in Tyler Palko has muddled the analysis for the game. Hanie wasn't great making his first NFL start on the road in Oakland, in fact he was probably the reason they lost the game. For the Chiefs, Palko has been bad enough for head coach Todd Haley to split practice reps between the young QB and recent waiver wire acquisition Kyle Orton. If Orton plays it changes the dynamic of the game completely, so what have odds makers been able to divine from all this chaos?

The Bears opened as nine point favorites over the Chiefs, and since that time it has shifted downward to seven and eight points across various sites, according to Odds Shark. The over/under opened at 38.5 points, and with all the confusion at quarterback for both teams it has moved down one point to 37.5 during the course of the week.
