A couple of important Chicago Bears defensive players have missed their second practice in a row on Thursday: defensive tackle Henry Melton and cornerback Charles Tillman. Tillman picked up his second interception of the season last week against the Denver Broncos.
Guard Edwin Williams and safety Major Wright were limited for the second consecutive day of practice. They are expected to play on Sunday. Linebacker Lance Briggs returned to practice after missing Wednesday's workouts for reasons not related to injury.
Jay Cutler and Matt Forte, of course, are nursing long-term injuries and haven't been able to practice this week either. Cutler thinks there is an "outside" chance he will be able to play against the Green Bay Packers, though.
