The Chicago Bears already looked like they were in sore need of some help when quarterback Jay Cutler went down, but things only got worse last week when the Bears played Kansas City. Starting running back Matt Forte and starting safety Major Wright both sustained injuries that have made them inactive for Sunday's game against the Denver Broncos. Michael C. Wright of ESPN Chicago has the full list of inactives for the game, which is shown below:
- QB Jay Cutler
- RB Matt Forte
- S Major Wright
- QB Nathan Enderle
- OG Ricky Henry
- TE Andre Smith
- DT Anthony Adams
The names to really focus on here are Cutler, Forte and Wright. The Bears' offense is a very tiny fraction of what it once was with Cutler and Forte leading the way, while the defense will surely miss the constantly-improving second-year safety Wright.
