CBS Sports' panel of five experts has released their picks for Week 14 in the NFL, and it isn't good news for the Chicago Bears. Picking the game between the Bears and Denver Broncos straight-up, the CBS panel unanimously selected Tim Tebow and the Broncos to prevail. The Bears offense looked terrible in their 10-3 home loss to the the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 13, so it's hard to find fault with the lack of support for the Bears. With Jay Cutler out and robbed of what would have been a very intriguing homecoming, the Bears will once again have to rely on Caleb Hanie. In case that isn't enough, star running back Matt Forte will miss the game due to a knee injury sustained in Week 13.
What about the rest of the NFC Wildcard hopefuls?
- The panel likes the Atlanta Falcons to take out Cam Newton and the Carolina Panthers by a 4-1 split.
- The Detroit Lions over the Minnesota Vikings generated a 5-0 concensus.
- There is a more genuine disagreement on the matchup between the Dallas Cowboys and the New York Giants. Clark Judge (the most accurate picker on the panel) and Mike Freeman have sided with Eli Manning and the Giants, while Pete Prisco, Dave Richard and Will Brinson have all put faith in Tony Romo and the Dallas Cowboys.
