Detroit Lions Injury Report, Week 10: Jahvid Best Misses Wednesday Practice

The Detroit Lions hope to maintain (and extend) their lead against the Chicago Bears in the NFC North on Sunday, and they've had some extra time to prepare thanks to a bye week. Despite that extra rest time, though, the Lions still have eight players on the Wednesday injury report that they released recently. That full list can be found here, but it's shown below for your viewing pleasure.

Did Not Participate

- RB Jahvid Best

- DE Kyle Vanden Bosch

- DT Sammie Hill

- K Jason Hanson

Limited Participation

- WR Rashied Davis

- P Ryan Donahue

Full Participation

- QB Matthew Stafford

- TE Brandon Pettigrew

The big name here is Lions starting running back Jahvid Best, who's still feeling the aftereffects of a concussion he suffered weeks ago. The running back has an extended history of head injuries, so the team has been particularly cautious. Fellow backs Keiland Williams and Maurice Morris have been getting most of the action in his absence.
