Bears Vs. Eagles: Gabe Carimi Goes Through Workout

Chicago Bears beat writer Sean Jensen posted a quick update on injured right tackle Gabe Carimi this afternoon:

Gabe Carimi just did a workout on the field with a trainer here at Lincoln Financial. He's out for the game but that's encouraging, at least

Carimi is working his way back from a partial dislocation of his right kneecap (I cringed just typing that) that has kept him out of the team's last five games. He was able to return to practice last week, fully participating on Thursday, but he was held out on Friday because of soreness in that knee.

"Gabe Carimi hasn't responded as well as we wanted him to," Lovie Smith said on Saturday.

Lance Louis will make his third consecutive start for the Bears at right tackle on Monday night.
