Typically when the Bears play well, they force turnovers, run the football, and play great special teams. After the first quarter Sunday, they have done all three. The Bears have 10 points off of two Detroit fumbles and have completely dominated the game so far.
Detroit came into this weeks game with the Bears having only fumbled once on the season. Today they already have two fumbles in the first quarter. Calvin Johnson fumbled after catching a bubble screen that resulted in a Matt Forte touchdown run and also received the ball back just a few minutes later when Nate Burleson fumbled the ball after trying to gain more yardage.
Devin Hester, who didn't practice this week, took his first punt return of the afternoon all the way to midfield before being tackled.
Jay Cutler has had a hot start going 6 of 9 for 65 yards. Earl Bennett has been the star with four catches so far for 44 yards with a few of those on third down conversions.
