Chicago Bears Injury Update: Julius Peppers, Matt Toeaina, Major Wright All Probable

Zach Zaidman has the latest from the Chicago Bears injury report, and there is a chance the Bears could be without some key players this Sunday against the Detroit Lions:

Probable:
DE Julius Peppers
DT Matt Toeaina
S Major Wright
TE Kellen Davis

Questionable
WR Devin Hester

The biggest news of the day, of course, is that All-Pro kick returner Devin Hester missed practice today and may not be cleared to play this Sunday, but he is not the only big name awaiting medical clearance.

The Bears may also be without Julius Peppers, whose knee injury has limited his playing time this season, but not his effectiveness. Peppers currently leads the team with 5.0 sacks despite drawing double teams all year. The defense may also be without the services of starting strong safety Major Wright, who is struggling with an ankle injury, and starting DT Matt Toeaina, who is also struggling with a knee injury.

TE Kellen Davis, a blocking tight end who has been sharing playing time with TE Matt Spaeth, is also probable and may be a gametime decision.
