After falling to the Detroit Lions 24-13 in week 5, the Chicago Bears are looking for some measure of revenge at home this Sunday afternoon. The Bears are playing much better football than they were when the teams met earlier in the season, and are fresh off an impressive 30-24 road victory over the Philadelphia Eagles on Monday night. Meanwhile, the Lions are coming off a bye week after their week 8 blowout win over the Denver Broncos.
After being listed as heavy underdogs in week 9, which made head coach Lovie Smith particularly upset, the Bears are 2-1/2 point favorites at home this week, according to Odds Shark.
Lions running back Jahvid Best may miss the game (concussion), and if so Maurice Morris is expected to start in his place. Meanwhile, the Bears offense looks to keep it rolling as Jay Cutler and Earl Bennett have ignited the passing attack to go along with Matt Forte's contributions.
The over/under oscillates from 45-1/2 points to 47 points, and much will likely hinge on how well the Bears can stop Matthew Stafford from connecting with Calvin Johnson.
