The Chicago Bears have released their Thursday afternoon injury report, and as was the case Wednesday, neither wide receiver Devin Hester nor defensive end Julius Peppers were able to participate in practice. Hester is nursing an ankle injury suffered in the fourth quarter of the Bear's win over the Eagles, and Lovie Smith sounds optimistic about Hester's availability for the Lions game.
Peppers is battling a knee injury. Tight end Kyle Adams, defensive tackle Matt Toeaina and offensive tackle Gabe Carimi also were held out of practice. Alexander has been placed on injured reserve.
Tight end Kellen Davis and safety Major Wright were limited in practice.
