2011 NFL Playoffs: New York Jets Vs. Indianapolis Colts, Colts Lead 7-0 At Half

The Indianapolis Colts and Peyton Manning come to life a little bit to start the second quarter, and have moved the ball into New York territory, but the Jet's hold and they punt from the 40, and the Jets will have to start from the around the ten yard line.

Brad Smith is questionable to return to the game, and that could really effect the Jets return capabilites. On offense, Mark Sanchez dug himself out of the hole with long connections to LaDanian Tomlinson and Braylon Edwards. They commit a delay of game penalty , and a near sack of Sanchez stall the drive, and they punt from their 45, for a touchback.

Peyton Manning patiently picks at what the Jets are giving, and with 5:35 left in the first half he finds a hole in the defense and lands one in Pierre Garcon's hands for 57 yard touchdown.

7-0 Colts

The Colts kick off and the Jets run the ball back to the 21 , where Mark Sanchez will take over and fight to move the chains, but he hits Santonio Holmes to get to midfield at the two minute warning. Tomlinson keeps the drive moving with an end around for a first down.

With just over a minute left in the half, the Jets take a timeout after Holmes gets them into the red zone. Sanchez tries to hit Dustin Keller twice, and on the third try, Justin Tryon picks him off at the goal line.

Manning and the Colts run a couple of plays, and let the clock run out.
