Mike Adamle DUI Arrest Update

As reported yesterday, former Bears and Northwestern running back Mike Adamle was arrested early Monday morning for driving under the influence. He had been stopped for not obeying a red flashing light. The officer who stopped him suspected Adamle had been drinking and conducted a field sobriety test, which Admale reportedly failed. He was taken to Evanston police headquarters where he exhibited "erratic behavior." At that point he was transferred to Evanston Hospital for a blood alcohol test. The results and his mug shot have not been released. Police are also awaiting results of a drug screen.

He is scheduled to appear in Cook County Circuit Court Feb. 14 in Skokie. No other details have been released and there has still been no comment from Adamle's employer, NBC 5 or Adamle.
