Welcome! With about 15 minutes to game time, I’m pleased to announce that the Detroit Lions have defeated the Green Bay Packers 7-3 in Ford Field. It’s the Lions first division win since 2007. Aaron Rodgers was knocked out of this contest in the second quarter with a concussion. The Packers fall to 8-5, and have to travel to Foxboro next week to take on the Patriots who are on a record setting home winning streak.
A win today would all but cement the Bears as NFC North champions, as well as put them in contention for the #2 seed in the conference playoffs.
Soldier Field is snow covered and windy, and it’s a beautiful day for football. Stay right here, and we’ll bring you all the highlights and updates of the Bears/Patriots contest, as they happen.
Go Bears!
