Major league baseball is off until Wednesday when the World Series begins in San Francisco. The Blackhawks also don't play until then, nor do the Bulls, who will begin the NBA regular season that night against the Thunder in Oklahoma City.

4:30 p.m., CSN Chicago: Bears recap. That is, if you can stand watching Jay Cutler throw those four interceptions again.

7 p.m., Versus: NHL, Kings at Wild. Blackhawks fans, get a preview of Wednesday night's game -- the Kings will be visiting the United Center then.

7:30 p.m., ESPN: NFL, Giants at Cowboys. Are the Giants really as good as they've looked since they beat the Bears? Are the Cowboys really this bad (they haven't won a home game yet)? These questions may, or may not, be answered tonight.
