It seems Roberto Garza was scratched from duty due to injury, rather than performance issues. Lovie Smith explained veteran guard Garza is scheduled for arthroscopic knee surgery. It is unknown right now, how long he’ll be out.
Smith also reported that Charles Tillman sat out today’s practice with a calf injury. No word on Tillman’s status for Sunday, as yet.
