Friday night will provide another impressive list of games on display for college hockey fans. Five games featuring top-ranked teams facing off are set for the evening, with other action going on all around the nation.
No. 1 overall Minnesota hits the road to face No. 8 St. Cloud State. The two-game series could be huge for either side. We saw the Golden Gophers' 10-game unbeaten streak snapped by Minnesota State two weeks ago. The Huskies, on the other hand, haven't lost since Jan. 5. This is shaping up to be one of the best series of the season.
The third-ranked Miami Redhawks face No. 6 Western Michigan. Both teams boast the same record heading into Friday, but Miami may have more momentum after sweeping Alaska by a combined 10-3 score recently.
