College Hockey schedule 2012: Notre Dame visits Miami (Ohio) Friday night

The Fighting Irish will try to keep their winning streak going against the RedHawks on the road Friday night.

In what is a busy weekend of college hockey, the Notre Dame Fighting Irish put their two-game winning streak on the line when they hit the road to take on the Miami (Ohio) RedHawks on Friday night.

The Fighting Irish are 6-5-1 away from home this season and 18-11-1 overall, while Miami is 10-1-3 at home and 18-7-5 overall for the season. Set to start at 7:35 p.m. ET, this showdown can be seen on the CBS Sports Network.

Elsewhere in the Midwest, the Minnesota Golden Gophers head to Madison to resume their border battle with the Wisconsin Badgers in a game that can be seen at 8:05 p.m. ET on regional Fox Sports Net affiliates. This season, the Badgers are 6-5-3 at the Kohl Center and 12-9-7 overall. Minnesota boasts a 7-3-2 record on the road and is 19-5-4 heading into Friday's contest.

A battle in the state of Michigan can be seen on the Big Ten Network when the Michigan State Spartans host the Northern Michigan Wildcats at 7:05 p.m. ET on Friday. The Spartans, with a home record of 6-6-1 for the season, will try to go over .500 at the Munn Ice Arena and better their current overall mark of 8-19-3.

Northern Michigan is only 3-11-1 away from home, 12-14-4 overall, and will try to turn around a recent string of four losses in their last five games.
