Peanut Tillman Injury: Bears CB Will Not Return On Sunday

Chicago Bears cornerback Charles Tillman will not return to the field for the remainder of Sunday's game against the Indianapolis Colts, according to Peggy Kusinski of NBC5 Chicago. Tillman left the game in the first quarter with an apparent ankle injury.

After suffering the injury, Tillman limped off the field in visible pain, occasionally stopping to gather himself before ultimately reaching the sidelines. At that point, it wasn't clear whether he would be able to return, but it appears that Kelvin Hayden will get most of the snaps at cornerback in place of Tillman in the second half.

Over the past five years, Tillman just missed just three starts, so it's pretty rare to watch a Bears defense that doesn't have Peanut in the secondary. His status for Week 2 is unclear, but he's done for Week 1.
