The third round of the 2012 BMW Championship is underway, and all of the leaders have now taken the course. Vijay Singh started the day with a one stroke lead, with Tiger Woods, Ryan Moore, and Rory McIlroy just a stroke back at 12-under. Woods started the day with a par on the first hole, while the other three are yet to complete a hole.
Dustin Johnson has birdied each of the first two holes, and he's climbed to within two strokes of the lead at 11-under par for the tournament. He's now completed the first three holes of his round. Seung-Yul Noh has also climbed to within two strokes of the lead after birdieing the first hole.
University of Illinois alum Steve Stricker sits 1-under through his first four holes, which has him at 4-under overall. Fellow Illinois alum D.A. Points is at 1-under through the second, leaving him at 2-under for the tournament.
Northwestern alum Luke Donald is shooting even par for the day, and that keeps him at 6-under where he started the round.
