2012 BMW Championship: Dustin Johnson Climbing As Leaders Get Underway

The third round of the 2012 BMW Championship is underway, and all of the leaders have now taken the course. Vijay Singh started the day with a one stroke lead, with Tiger Woods, Ryan Moore, and Rory McIlroy just a stroke back at 12-under. Woods started the day with a par on the first hole, while the other three are yet to complete a hole.

Dustin Johnson has birdied each of the first two holes, and he's climbed to within two strokes of the lead at 11-under par for the tournament. He's now completed the first three holes of his round. Seung-Yul Noh has also climbed to within two strokes of the lead after birdieing the first hole.

University of Illinois alum Steve Stricker sits 1-under through his first four holes, which has him at 4-under overall. Fellow Illinois alum D.A. Points is at 1-under through the second, leaving him at 2-under for the tournament.

Northwestern alum Luke Donald is shooting even par for the day, and that keeps him at 6-under where he started the round.
