Chicago Bears Valued At $1.19 Billion By Forbes

The Chicago Bears are the eighth-most valuable franchise in the NFL with an estimated value of $1.19 billion, according to Forbes. It's a nine percent increase in estimated overall value from last year, pretty solid growth relative to other teams around the league.

Forbes estimates the Dallas Cowboys as by far the most valuable franchise in the NFL at $2.1 billion. The New England Patriots are the second-most valuable team at an estimated $1.635 billion, while the Washington Redskins are a close third at $1.6 billion.

Rounding out the top five teams in estimated value are the New York Giants at $1.468 million and the Houston Texans at $1.305 million. The Jacksonville Jaguars are the least-valuable franchise in the league at $770 million, just ahead of the St. Louis Rams' estimated value of $780 million.
