The Chicago Bears are the eighth-most valuable franchise in the NFL with an estimated value of $1.19 billion, according to Forbes. It's a nine percent increase in estimated overall value from last year, pretty solid growth relative to other teams around the league.
↵Forbes estimates the Dallas Cowboys as by far the most valuable franchise in the NFL at $2.1 billion. The New England Patriots are the second-most valuable team at an estimated $1.635 billion, while the Washington Redskins are a close third at $1.6 billion.
↵Rounding out the top five teams in estimated value are the New York Giants at $1.468 million and the Houston Texans at $1.305 million. The Jacksonville Jaguars are the least-valuable franchise in the league at $770 million, just ahead of the St. Louis Rams' estimated value of $780 million.
