Deutsche Bank Championship 2012: Rory McIlroy Wins At 20-Under

After a consistently strong performance, Rory McIlroy won the 2012 Deutsche Bank Championship by one stroke over Louis Oosthuizen on Monday. He shot 4-under in the final round, finishing the tournament at 20-under overall, just ahead of Oosthuizen's 19-under score.

Oosthuizen was in a position to win the tournament, but he struggled badly in the final round on Monday after a great performance on Sunday. After posting an 8-under 63 in the third round, Oosthuizen stumbled to an even 71 in the final round after hitting birdies on just three holes.

Tiger Woods was in it right down to the end, finishing third with an overall score of 18-under. Northwestern grad Luke Donald finishes the tournament at 5-under overall, tied for 26th in the field. Fellow local golfer Steve Stricker slots in slightly higher, finishing tied for 13th with an overall score of 8-under.
