The Chicago White Sox look to put their weekend sweep at the hands of the Detroit Tigers behind them Monday as they begin a three-game set with the Minnesota Twins.

Hector Santiago will take the mound for the White Sox in the opener in his first career major league start. Santiago started the year as Chicago's closer, but soon lost his job after a shaky April. He was sent down to Triple-A Charlotte in August with the intention of stretching out his arm so he could return as a starter.

Samuel Deduno will start the series for Minnesota. Deduno is 5-2 this season with a 3.72 ERA since premiering with the team on July 7.

After losing three straight in Detroit and six out of the last seven, Chicago is now tied atop the AL Central and two games back of the second Wild Card spot.
