The Illinois Fighting Illini will wrap up their non-conference play on Saturday when they play host to 2-0 Louisiana Tech. Illinois is riding high following their 44-0 win over Charleston Southern on Saturday. They're sitting at 2-1, first in the Big Ten Leaders Division, and are looking to win big on prime time. The game will be broadcast on the Big Ten Network at 7:00 p.m. CT and it should be a good one.

Louisiana Tech, the WAC champions in 2011, is coming off a 56-37 win over the Rice Owls in their last outing. They also took their opener against Houston on Sept. 8, scoring 56 points in that one as well. Illinois will be their toughest competition this season though, so it should be an interesting game.

The Fighting Illini have done well against the run, ranking in the top 25 nationally in both total defense and rushing defense. That means things will be tough on running back Kenneth Dixon, who pulled out 113 yards against Rice a week ago and 90 yards against Houston.

The game will be played at Memorial Stadium in Champaign, Illinois on Saturday, Sept. 22. Chris Denari, J Leman and Tony Banks will be your crew on the Big Ten Network.
