The Chicago Bears and Green Bay Packers are set to clash on Thursday night in a primetime Week 2 matchup, but players are being careful to avoid producing any last-minute bulletin board material. Earl Bennett spent his time with the media praising rookie wide receiver Alshon Jeffery, but he was sure to emphasize his respect for Charles Woodson and the rest of the Green Bay Packers' secondary as well (via ESPN Chicago):
"They're a good secondary with Tramon Williams and Charles Woodson now back at the safety position," Bennett said. "They got some guys who can play back there. Woodson is doing the same thing he's always done (despite moving from cornerback to safety). Woodson is doing what he has always done in their scheme."
Last season Bennett had to carry the load for the passing attack, but this time around Jeffrey and Brandon Marshall are there to help Jay Cutler put up bigger numbers against a Packers defense that has never been afraid to blitz and leave areas of the secondary exposed.
