Bears Vs. Packers: Aaron Rodgers Praises Chicago Defense

High praise from a quarterback as good as Aaron Rodgers is a big deal, but the Chicago Bears defense has heard this kind of thing before. Rodgers had some kind things to say about the Bears Tuesday.

"They've got a great defense, do a good job of stripping the ball, making plays, creating turnovers and forcing you into long-yardage situations."

Rodgers, writes the Chicago Sun-Times, mentioned veteran linebackers Lance Briggs and Brian Urlacher, the two players every team is aware of going into a game against Chicago.

The Bears D could be a little more formidable if the Packers don't have wide receiver Greg Jennings in the lineup, which seems likely.

Having made such compliments, Rodgers is 7-2 in his career against the Bears and has a 102.9 career quarterback rating against them. The Packers have won six of the last seven meetings.

The Bears, who defeated Indianapolis in Week 1, could have a hobbled Urlacher and defensive back Charles Tillman.
