NFL Power Rankings Week 2: Bears In The Top 10

After their convincing 41-21 victory over the Indianapolis Colts the Bears have solidified their place in the top 10 of NFL power rankings from around the web. The Bears displayed an impressive passing attack with new WR Brandon Marshall and QB Jay Cutler rekindling their connection from their days in Denver to go along with the Bears consistently strong defense.

SB Nation's Joel Thorman moved the Bears up one spot, from tenth to ninth and notes they have huge potential for the future:

9. Chicago Bears (LW: 10, 1-0): Huge potential in Chicago. I want to see them put it together against the NFC's elite. Thursday night in Green Bay will work.

At ESPN, Chicago also rose one spot, from ninth to eighth in this case. The Bears climbed two spots at National Football Post, from 11th to ninth. And at CBS the Bears jumped three spots, from 13th to tenth. All three sites noted the Bears improved offensive attack.

The Bears will have a chance to make a real move in the rankings this week when they take on the Green Bay Packers, who, despite losing last week, are ranked above the Bears in all of the mentioned power rankings.
