Chicago native Wallace Spearmon ran the best 200m of his season, finishing with a 19.90 mark, but his impressive sprint fell short of the dynamic Jamaican trio of Usain Bolt, Yohan Blake and Warren Weir who finished first, second and third.
Bolt once again took the gold medal, finishing 0.58 seconds ahead of Spearmon with a 19.32 mark, but Blake and Warren were not far behind.
