After two disappointing showings in major championships this year, Northwestern graduate Luke Donald had a quietly strong British Open, tying for fifth. He'll be looking to carry that momentum into the 2012 PGA Championship, where he has two top 10 finishes in his career. Steve Stricker, meanwhile, also has two career finishes in the top 10 at the PGA, and has been steady in majors so far in 2012.
The two will help kick off the this year's PGA Championship at Kiawah Island near Charleston, South Carolina on Thursday August 9. Donald will spend his first two rounds playing with Brandt Snedeker and Zach Johnson, while Stricker will be with Louis Oosthuizen and Ian Poulter. Donald will tee off at 12:30 p.m. CT on Thursday and 7:20 a.m. CT on Friday, while Stricker will start at 7:40 a.m. CT on Thursday and 12:50 p.m. CT on Friday.
