Wages of Wins Journal has given the Chicago Bulls an "F" for their offseason transactions.
The Bulls lost Omer Asik, Ronnie Brewer, Kyle Korver, John Lucas, Brian Scalabrine and C.J. Watson, but also added free agents Kirk Hinrich, Nazr Mohammed, Nate Robinson, Marco Belinelli and Vladimir Radmanovic. However, the loss of the bench mob was inexcusable in the eyes of Wages of Wins. They write:
"...the Bulls lost three of their best seven players last season and were unable to find a suitable replacement (or even close to it) for all three. If that doesn't constitute a poor offseason, I don't know what does...Last season, the Bulls were able to overcome Rose's various injuries with an ensemble cast that heavily featured players like Brewer, Korver, and Asik to become a top team in the East. This season, that same quality does not exist for Chicago."
The Bulls also added Marquis Teague through the NBA Draft. He will presumably replace John Lucas and C.J. Watson in the backup point guard role.
