The European Ryder Cup top 10 was finalized Sunday with the completion of the Johnnie Walker Championship in Scotland.
The European qualifying rules for the Ryder Cup team narrow down the field to 10 using the top five from the World Points List and the top five from the European Points list. At the conclusion of the Johnnie Walker Championship on August 26, the field is set.
Led by the world's No. 1 golfer Rory McIlroy, here is the European top 10 for 2012:

2. Justin Rose
3. Graeme McDowell
4. Paul Lawrie
5. Francesco Molinari
6. Luke Donald
7. Lee Westwood
8. Sergio Garcia
9. Peter Hanson
10. Martin Kaymer
European captain Jose Maria Olazabal is now allowed to select two golfers to round out his 12-man team.
