Bears Training Camp News: Johnny Knox Injured But Believes He Will Play In 2012

Although he is on the physically unable to perform list and must miss the first six weeks of the season, Chicago Bears wide receiver Johnny Knox is confident that he will play at some point during the 2012 season despite suffering such a serious injury late in the 2011 season.

He tells the Chicago Sun-Times:

"It could be this season, next season, who knows? But I'm going to keep striving to get better and get back on the field."

Knox was injured in a scary incident late during the 2011 season. He had to have surgery to replace an injured vertebra which has put his chances of playing during the 2012 season in jeopardy.
