Rockies Vs. Cubs: Colorado Scores Four Unanswered Runs, Wins 4-3

The Chicago Cubs took a 3-0 lead after Alfonso Soriano scored on an error and Brett Jackson hit a two-run home run in the fourth inning, but the Colorado Rockies scored runs in each of the next three innings to win 4-3.

Cubs pitcher Brooks Raley held the Rockies scoreless through four innings, but gave up a pinch-hit two-run home run to Josh Rutledge in the fifth after Rutledge hit for Colorado pitcher Alex White. Raley's final line was two earned runs in five innings with four strikeouts.

Manny Corpos (0-1, 4.19 ERA) took the loss in relief, giving up a solo home run to Andrew Brown in the sixth. Carlos Gonzalez drove in the decisive run in the seventh on a RBI groundout against pitcher Alex Hinshaw. Hinshaw had relieved Corpas, who had left a runner on base.

Jackson was 2-for-3 on the day with a double and a home run. He had two of Chicago's six hits and their only two extra base hits.
