Television analyst for the Arizona Diamondbacks and former member of the Chicago Cubs Mark Grace was arrested for DUI on Thursday night, reports azcentral.com.

He will take an indefinite leave of absence following a team announcement on Friday afternoon that said Grace has "requested an indefinite leave of absence to seek personal assistance. Due to the nature of Grace's request, the team will have no further comment on the matter at this time."

Grace was arrested by Scottsdale Police around 9 pm PT, according to the report, after being pulled over for an expired license plate. After going through field-sobriety tests and conversation, the officer found probable cause for DUI, and he was arrested without incident.

His license was suspended, the report notes, due to a prior DUI in May 2011 and Grace was driving without the required interlock device.

Luis Gonzalez will assume Grace's duties for Fox Sports Arizona's Friday and Saturday telecasts.
