The Chicago Bears have had an up-and-down preseason to this point. However, quarterback Jay Cutler says the team is not worried yet about their inconsistent performance.
In an article on ESPN.com, Cutler says the team hasn't been able to get enough prep time in practice together, but once they do, watch out.
"We hit some nice shots in there, but we didn't really get a chance to do what we wanted exactly like we wanted to," Cutler said. "Until we really get a full week and get those guys out there, practice what we want to practice, and see how it looks, it isn't gonna be... you can't expect to get everything out there. That's the tough part about the preseason games. You want to have the finished product, but the practice time and the preparation (in the preseason doesn't allow for that)."
The Bears are coming off of a 33-31 win over the Redskins, a game that was a big one for Cutler. He completed four of his first five passes, each for more than 16 yards. It will be interesting to see how Chicago carries the momentum moving forward.
