Aggrey Sam's exclusive interview with Derrick Rose continued today at Comcast SportsNet Chicago, with the Bulls' fallen superstar opening up about the repercussions stemming from his torn ACL.

To me, the most interesting part comes from Rose talking about how the injury will force him to become a more well-rounded athlete. Rose says: "I'm actually learning how to work parts of my body that I've never used before". He continues:

"My balance wasn't that good. I remember coming in my rookie year and the trainers and everybody on staff were like, 'How do you play the way you play and you can't even balance on one foot for that long? How do you move that way?' Or not being flexible with the way that I play. One of the tightest guys muscle-wise, just super-tight; they never saw that and me playing the way that I play, it's just weird.

There's also the LOL-funny part of Rose talking about the addition of Kirk Hinrich. You can tell Derrick reads the press, because just as every mainstream reporter mentioned while the Bulls were courting Hinrich, Rose was quick to bring up Kirk's house in the area.

Adding Kirk, of course he’ll be filling in that spot for a bit. Adding him, he’s someone that’s been in that type of [position] for a long time. He’s a winner, Thibs is a winner. I know Thibs will love him. [Hinrich] still has his house [near the Berto Center], so I think he’ll be more comfortable with playing and he’ll be back in the city,"

Rolling on the ground laughing at that one. Get back soon, D. Rose. I miss you.
