After drawing even at one game apiece with a victory on Tuesday, the Chicago White Sox can keep things going in game three with right-hander Gavin Floyd on the mound from Toronto's Rogers Center.
The 29-year-old Floyd has fared poorly against the Blue Jays in his White Sox tenure, but broke through with a win against Toronto, the first of his career, back in early July. Floyd has lasted at least six innings in each of his four starts since his impressive performance on July 7, and will be looking to keep his strong second-half going against Edwin Encarnacion and the Jays on Wednesday.
Chicago hitters will take on Toronto's Ricky Romero in Wednesday's pivotal third game, as the inconsistent left-hander enters with a 8-9 record and 5.32 earned-run average. Here are the starting lineups for game three:
