Chicago White Sox Vs. Toronto Blue Jays Score Update: White Sox Take 3-2 Lead In Fifth Inning

After trailing 2-0 early, the Chicago White Sox pulled ahead of the Toronto Blue Jays in the bottom of the fifth inning to take a 3-2 lead.

A.J. Pierzynski led off the inning with a single and eventually scored on a hit by Alejandro De Aza. For the leadoff hitter De Aza, it was his 44th RBI of the season. After another RBI single by Dewayne Wise, De Aza scored himself on a throwing error by Blue Jays' pitcher, Henderson Alvarez.

White Sox starter Jose Quintana has been solid, giving up only a pair of runs through six innings. 57 of his 87 pitches through the sixth inning have been for strikes and he has four strikeouts thus far in the contest.

The White Sox are trying to bounce back after losing on Monday night to the Blue Jays, 3-2.
