The United States men's basketball team advanced to the gold medal game with a 109-83 win over Argentina in the semifinal round on Friday.

Argentina managed to hang tough for the first half, and they trailed by seven at the break. Eventually, though, the depth and talent on the U.S. team wore them down and allowed the United States to pull away for an easy win.
Kevin Durant led the U.S. with 19 points on 7-14 shooting and also grabbed four rebounds. LeBron James scored 18 points, pulled down seven rebounds and dished out seven assists. Carmelo Anthony also scored 18 points, and Kobe Bryant scored 13.
Manu Ginobili led Argentina with 18 points.
