The United States entered Wednesday's Day 5 of the 2012 Olympic Games tied with China for the overall medal lead, but fell back one spot thanks to the Chinese picking up seven medals on the day.
Here is the latest 8-bit medal count video from SBN Studios:
The U.S. picked up a host of medals in swimming today, but it was not enough to surpass China, which went one-two in women's table tennis and one-two in men's 77kg weightlifting. They also picked up their fourth gold in diving on Wednesday.
It was also a good day for Great Britain, which picked up its first gold in women's pair rowing and another later in the day when national hero Bradley Wiggins won the men's individual time trial in cycling.
