2012 Summer Olympics Preview: DeKalb Natives Grant And Ross James Try To Increase Medal Count In Men's Eight

The USA is currently tied atop the medal count with China. Each country has already secured 23 medals in the 2012 Summer Olympics. A pair of suburban DeKalb natives will have the opportunity to earn another medal for the U.S. in rowing when the men's eight gets underway on Wednesday.

Grant and Ross James, a pair of 24-year old Wisconsin alums, will be on the boat when the rowing competition gets underway at 9:30 CT. The USA will be in Group A along with five other countries, including Great Britain.

The USA women will battle Turkey in Group A basketball action. Swin Cash and Sylvia Fowles, each a member of the Chicago Sky, are on Team USA.
